PrOatein Fig & Nut Bars

  • 2 dl PrOatein
  • 2 dl fig marmalade
  • 1.5 dl chopped almonds
  • 1.5 dl chopped nuts of your choice
  • 3/4 dl chocolate chips


Stir PrOatein with fig marmalade in a bowl until smooth and without lumps. Add almonds and other nuts. Knead the nuts into the dough. It is easiest to use your hands. Place the dough on baking paper in a loaf pan. Press the dough into the bottom of the pan until it is approx. 2 cm thick. Melt the chocolate chips in a saucepan at low heat. Pour the chocolate over the dough. Place the chocolate-covered dough in the freezer for about 30 minutes. Using the baking paper, lift the dough from the pan and cut it into 8 bars. Wrap the bars in cling film and refrigerate. You can also add dried fruit, such as chopped apricots to the dough.
